A 30-minute working session. Your numbers, our experience.
Bring your calculator numbers, your core platform, and the questions you're still working through. We'll share what we've seen at peer community FIs facing the same decisions.
- A working conversation focused on your situation
- Peer context from FIs at your asset size
- We follow up to schedule within one business day
Tell us about your FI and what you want to cover
A practical working session. Focused on your decision.
Bring your numbers and your questions. We will share what we have seen at community FIs your size — what is working, what is not, where the math holds up, and where it does not. If it makes sense to keep talking after, we will. If not, you have your answer.
What we usually cover
- Your calculator output and how peer community FIs read those numbers at your asset size
- Internal-first vs. business-client-first deployment, based on where your FI is today
- How community FIs are structuring Modern Positive Pay as a fee line
- What your core platform supports without a long integration build
- Anything else you want to talk through
How we run these
- A working conversation tailored to your questions
- The person you meet has done this work at community FIs and will stay with you through the process
- We'll pull up a slide or demo only if it's useful to you
- No pressure to commit to anything in the session
People with real community FI experience. Different cores, complicated stacks, the conversations you have every day.
The people you meet have spent years working with community FIs — across different cores, complicated tech setups, and the kind of nuanced conversations treasury teams have every day. They have been through it on your side and know what matters to a treasury team, a CFO, and a board.
Built for community FIs
Our team has been in your shoes — running treasury operations, evaluating vendors, presenting to a board. We know what you need to bring back internally.
Peer FI context
De-identified examples from FIs at your asset size, on your core, with comparable business client mixes. You will leave with a sense of where your FI stands.
A real conversation
No script. We ask what brought you here and what you need to figure out. We answer questions directly and we keep it useful.
Three things to bring, if you have them.
None of these are required. If you have them, the conversation moves faster. If not, we will walk through them together.
Your calculator numbers
The three returns you ran (Annual Protection / Fee Income / Retention). Open the calculator side-by-side if it helps.
Your core + current PP setup
What core platform you're on, and what (if any) Positive Pay solution you have today. Even "we don't have one" is useful information.
Your CFO's main question
What is your CFO most likely to ask you about Modern Positive Pay in your next exec meeting? Bring it. We will help you have a clear answer ready.
Built by the team protecting community FIs for nearly 2 decades.
A few common questions before you reach out.
Will you try to sell me on Modern Positive Pay during the call?
No. If Modern Positive Pay is the right move for your FI given your situation, we will say so. If it is not, we will say so. The session is meant to help you think clearly about the decision, not to push you toward one.
Do I need to bring anyone from Finance, IT, or Operations?
No. Most of these sessions are one-on-one with the treasury manager or VP of treasury. We will help you build what you need to bring back to Finance, IT, or whoever else has a say in the decision. If it makes sense to bring someone else to a later conversation, we will figure that out together.
What happens after the call?
Whatever makes sense for you. Some people walk away with the math and the peer context and that is all they needed. Some want a follow-up email with what we discussed. Some are ready to look at Modern Positive Pay seriously for their FI and we go from there. You decide what is useful.
How prepared do I need to be?
If you've already run the calculator, you're prepared. If not, run it before the call so we have your numbers to anchor on — takes 60 seconds. Beyond that, just bring your situation and your questions.
What if I'm just curious and not actively evaluating?
That's completely fine. A lot of these sessions are with FIs that are still deciding whether to look at this seriously. The peer context is useful at that stage. We'll follow up occasionally with information that might matter to you, and you can reach out when you're ready.
